We live in the cypress area near Houston and travelled to college station for a weekend getaway and this was our first stop after skipping breakfast and driving to our destination. Very happy we got to visit this place as the food was very good and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Food left an impact on us and we actually drove the following weekend just to eat here and drive back home 😅 Both times the staff was super friendly and I bring it up a second time because you can tell they emphasize a really high quality of service to everyone who visits here. It’s reflected on the quality of the food and how helpful the staff is. We tried a variety of dishes here and the lattes and not once did we feel like the food wasn’t good. I would 100% recommend this place to grab a bite to eat. It would probably be a weekly spot for us if it wasn’t so far.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The menu was conveniently placed on the walk, making it easy for us to browse through the delightful selection. The restaurant's open space, filled with plenty of tables and natural light, created a welcoming ambiance. We were impressed to learn that the food is made with fresh ingredients, and most items are made in-house by the talented chefs. I personally tried the strawberry beet salad, which was simply amazing. My husband ordered the Southern Benny, and he couldn't stop raving about how delicious the biscuit with gravy tasted. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a cup of perfectly brewed black coffee with a light yet fragrant aroma. Throughout our visit, the staff continued to be friendly, attentive, and sweet, adding to the overall charm of this place. It's safe to say that we fell in love with this restaurant and can't wait to return. If you're ever looking for a delightful dining spot with great food and service, I highly recommend giving Stella Southern Cafe a visit. You're sure to love it as much as we did!

Customer service is awesome. I sent an order back and the staff were very friendly and understanding. Clean establishment and fast service. Food presentation was amazing. The food portion for the price can’t be beat. The biscuits are huge! The staff from the kitchen are friendly and polite as well. Definitely a spot to check out.
I went with my husband to meet with the catering manager, Jacob. I forgot to take pictures, but my husband ordered what was essentially a southern eggs Benedict. It had a biscuit, egg, bacon and gravy. I got a kids egg, bacon, and biscuit. All of it was cooked to order, and so good! The biscuits are especially yummy! We also got two delicious sugar-free iced lattes. What was most impressive as I was observing the room was how the employees were happy. It was a chaotic Sunday morning (from my perspective), and none of the employees seemed stressed. They were working fast, but relaxed, if that makes sense. At one point I even commented how one was cleaning a table, with a smile. This speaks volumes to me about the kind of restaurant they are. I have recommended them a couple of times for catering, and then been able to enjoy the food at those events. They have a wide range of service set ups, and of course the food is great. Jacob will handle whatever you are needing.
We were in town for a swim meet last week and pretty much frequented places off of University. Our last day there we finally googled "best breakfast in College Station" and this place showed up. When we arrived the line was out the door but it went quickly and as busy as it was no one seemed to wait for a table. The food was outstanding. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. Get a couple of shirts while you're in line and a coffee mug. They're great! I'd give it more stars if I could!
This is my favorite brunch place!! I have never had a bad meal here and the staff is always so kind! I LOVED the pot roast and eggs so much!! It was full of flavor! And their pecan drip coffee is perfect too!
If you’re in College Station, Stella Southern Café is a must-visit. The biscuits are as good as everyone says, and the banana foster French toast is next-level delicious. Sweet, rich, and totally crave-worthy. The Eggcetera was hearty and satisfying, and the lemon blueberry mimosa added the perfect bright touch. Quick, counter-service style makes it easy, and the atmosphere is just as enjoyable as the food.
YUM!!! Delicious food and coffee drinks!! Waiting in line was quick, but also fun because you can shop along the way— order at the counter and they’ll serve your table! Highly recommend the churro French toast (made on biscuits), avocado toast, and beignets! Can’t wait to try more on another visit— the Texas Meadow Latte (lavender and honey) and Southern latte (brown sugar and cinnamon, but it’s not too sweet) are both fantastic! Loved the food and coffee drinks, atmosphere and had great service— be sure to check out Stella Southern Cafe!
Great breakfast spot. Everything looked beautiful, fresh and full of flavor. The beignets were great! warm, fluffy and covered in powdered sugar (definitely a must order). The breakfast plates were generous and cooked perfectly, from the eggs to the crispy potatoes and biscuits. A quick heads up on how it works — you order your food first when you walk in, then they find you a table. It’s super efficient, but it also tells you how popular this place is. The line often goes out the door, and it’s clearly a local favorite. You can tell they focus on quality and comfort food done well. Every dish felt intentional, not rushed and full of that homemade Southern flavor. If you’re in College Station, this is a must for brunch. We ordered a variety of items and honestly… not a single miss on the table. Will absolutely be back.
